I haven’t trained with Mermi personally but I do know one thing: when I listen and watch her method of teaching it feels so nostalgic as it takes me back to those black and white movies with all the royal family sat in a lovely music room listening to Mermi teach and also play whilst they drink their cup of tea! That’s the feeling I get! I’m starting to learn the piano myself and I wish she lived in the UK.
