About Maryam
I have had many years of expert teaching for students of different stages and levels. Coming from one of the best schools in the country, I know that good quality teaching that is tailored specifically to the tutee is what makes learning most efficient. I am caring, considerate and understanding of issues that my tutees have with regards to their education, and tailor my teaching based on their style of learning. I know that having a teacher who listens and answers all the questions of their students is what makes a good session- therefore I make extra sure to cater my sessions to the questions and topics my students need. Being a tutor for students at a leading tuition company in the UK, I know what the difference is between teaching and expert, great quality teaching- which I provide to each and every one of my tutees, no matter what lengths I need to reach to achieve this. I am incredibly hard working and passionate with my teaching, and have gotten positive results in every situation. Whether it is for improvement in your subject, gaining confidence in your work or learning different expert techniques to approach exam questions, I have all the skills that are bound to get results! We learn theory at school but often the teachers don’t explain what this is relevant to in the real world. But this relevance is exactly why we study and educate our children, because we want them to be fully prepared for the real world. Did you know that the reflux practical technique also applies to when we cover the lid to boil our rice? Or that the acids we learn about in chemistry have chemical properties which we can dilute and use for our skincare? Small practical examples and contexts such as these which we can teach our children will help these so-called “challenging” concepts EASY! And that is what I do. I make everything I teach relevant and exciting, so the child has fun learning ALL the content without even realising they put any effort in!
