About Billie
I am a passionate piano tutor with over 12 years of experience teaching students from school, college, and professional backgrounds. I believe that learning piano should be both structured and enjoyable, allowing students to develop technical skill, creativity, and musical expression.
My teaching approach emphasizes patience, clear communication, and personalized lessons tailored to each student’s learning style and goals. I focus on building strong fundamentals, including finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, and sight-reading, while gradually introducing advanced techniques.
I also teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to provide a complete musical education. Lessons are interactive, engaging, and often include song practice, creative exercises, and performance preparation. I specialize in simplifying complex concepts, motivating students, and helping them develop confidence, consistent practice routines, and disciplined habits. My ultimate goal is to create a positive, supportive, and inspiring environment where students can enjoy learning piano and achieve their full potential.

Flexibility ensures that lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, preferences, and level of expertise, creating a stress-free and enjoyable learning experience.
In addition to piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This holistic methodology strengthens students’ technical skills, musical understanding, and expressive ability. My aim is to cultivate confident, skilled, and lifelong musicians who enjoy exploring and performing music with creativity and passion.
