About MATH PARTY
Committed and experienced educator with a Bachelor's Degree (Honours) in Economics and Statistics, coupled with a dynamic 8-year teaching tenure encompassing mathematics for primary schools and a specialised focus on Mathematics and Economics at secondary schools levels up to A-levels. Having taught both domestically in Nigeria and internationally in the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, I bring a rich multicultural understanding and a versatile teaching approach. With my years of dedicated focus on Mathematics and Economics instructions across diverse secondary schools, I apply a flexible pedagogical approach towards facilitating my students' learning to ensure that lessons are well mastered and perfected. I aim at leveraging my comprehensive background in Mathematics and Economics education, utilising my experience to create an engaging learning environment that fosters students' academic growth and real-world applicability. My career goal as a Teacher is to guide students towards a profound understanding of Mathematics, preparing them for academic success and practical application in their future endeavours. My success as a teacher is not solely attributable to my technical expertise but also to the invaluable personal qualities that I have developed over the years. Excellent communication, industriousness, selflessness, devotion to duty, empathy, inclusivity, flexibility, adaptability, observance, self-motivation, team building, and a relentless passion for learning have been my guiding principles. One pivotal moment in my teaching career occurred at Sacred Heart Private School when I encountered students grappling with a profound fear of mathematics, a fear I too once shared in my formative years. It was empathy that allowed me to see through their perspective, and adaptability enabled me to employ effective techniques to help them overcome their fear. After just four weeks of dedicated teaching, a poll revealed that none of these students feared mathematics any longer. This experience taught me a fundamental lesson: listen to students' hearts, understand how they learn best, and adapt your teaching to suit their needs. They are the ultimate testament to your hard work. These are the qualities I come along with to help you grow to your best possible strength and prowess mathematically.
