About Lyla
My fascination with Excel began with exploring its potential to simplify complex data, enhance analysis, and improve productivity. I earned a B.Sc in Information Systems and an M.Sc in Business Analytics, gaining both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in data handling, analysis, and automation. Over the past 10 years, I have taught students of all levels, helping them master advanced functions, pivot tables, macros, and data analysis techniques while fostering problem-solving skills, creativity, and confidence.
I teach with clarity, patience, and adaptability, using structured instruction, guided exercises, hands-on projects, and iterative feedback to ensure learners develop mastery. Many students initially struggle with advanced formulas, automation, or complex dashboards, so I provide stepwise guidance, practical examples, and reinforcement to build confidence and skill. Lessons are designed to promote analytical thinking, efficiency, and independent problem-solving.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged with emerging Excel techniques, data visualization strategies, and automation projects, integrating real-world relevance into lessons. Watching students progress from uncertainty to competence, gain confidence, and apply Excel creatively is immensely rewarding. My mission is to inspire learners to approach Excel with curiosity, precision, and creativity, preparing them for success in any data-driven task.

Mastering Excel cultivates analytical reasoning, precision, and efficiency in handling data.
