About Mark
I have 7 years of experience teaching Excel to learners of diverse backgrounds, helping them develop both practical skills and analytical thinking. I earned a B.Sc in Business Analytics, which provided a solid foundation in data handling, statistical reasoning, and technical proficiency in software applications. Throughout my teaching career, I have guided learners in mastering formulas, pivot tables, macros, and visualization techniques while building problem-solving confidence.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes structured learning, patience, and hands-on practice. I focus on making lessons interactive, practical, and relevant to each student's goals. I encourage learners to experiment, ask questions, and develop strategies for efficient and accurate Excel usage.
Outside tutoring, I actively work with Excel for data projects, automation scripts, and reporting tools, which keeps my lessons current and applicable. Teaching Excel is rewarding because I witness learners transform uncertainty into mastery, gaining both confidence and independence. Microsoft Excel is far more than just a spreadsheet tool—it’s a powerful platform for analyzing data, automating processes, and making informed decisions. In my lessons, I cover formulas, pivot tables, charts, conditional formatting, data visualization, macros, and efficiency techniques with hands-on exercises. I focus on helping learners gain confidence and independence while exploring practical applications of Excel in professional, academic, and personal projects.
