About Lauren
My journey with Excel began when I started working with data and realized how important spreadsheets are in managing information. This interest led me to pursue a Master’s in Data Science, where I developed strong analytical and technical skills. Over the past 10 years, I have helped students learn Excel in a clear and practical way.
My teaching style focuses on simplicity, patience, and structured learning. I break down complex tasks into small steps so students can understand easily. I use real-life examples and hands-on practice to make lessons engaging and effective. I also encourage students to explore different features independently to build confidence.
Outside teaching, I continue learning new Excel tools and techniques. This helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant. Teaching Excel is very rewarding because I see students grow in confidence and ability. My goal is to help every learner feel comfortable and skilled in using spreadsheets.

My Excel lessons are designed to make working with spreadsheets simple, clear, and practical for every learner. I begin with basic concepts such as data entry, formatting, and simple formulas, explaining each step in an easy way. I use real-life examples like budgeting, tracking records, and organizing data so students can understand how Excel is used daily. This makes learning more meaningful and engaging. I create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
As students gain confidence, I introduce more advanced features such as pivot tables, charts, conditional formatting, and logical functions. I guide them through structured exercises that help them analyze and manage data effectively. Practice tasks are included in every lesson to improve accuracy and confidence. I also explain mistakes clearly so students can improve step by step.
Each lesson is planned to help learners grow steadily and build strong practical skills. Excel helps students become more organized and efficient when handling data. Many learners begin to enjoy spreadsheets once they see useful results. My goal is to help students build strong Excel skills that they can apply in studies, work, and daily life.
