About Carl
My journey with Excel began with curiosity about how data could be organized, analyzed, and visualized efficiently. This interest led me to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, where I developed a strong foundation in data management, analysis, and reporting. These studies equipped me with the skills to guide learners effectively in understanding Excel’s capabilities.
Over the past 8 years of teaching, I have helped students ranging from beginners to professionals refine their spreadsheet skills. My teaching approach emphasizes clarity, patience, and structured instruction. I focus on breaking down formulas, explaining the logic behind functions, and providing real-life examples to make learning relevant and practical. Students are encouraged to experiment and explore while receiving consistent guidance and feedback.
Beyond teaching, I enjoy working with data, discovering new analytical techniques, and exploring automation tools to make tasks more efficient. These experiences enrich my lessons and allow me to introduce current, practical examples into the classroom. My Excel lessons are designed to help learners move beyond basic spreadsheet use to confident, practical mastery.
