About Maelle
I hold a Bachelor of Commerce in Information Systems and a Master of Science in Business Analytics. Over the past 9 years, I have trained students and professionals in Excel and data analysis. My interest in Excel began with its ability to simplify complex datasets into meaningful insights. Teaching allows me to share this practical knowledge and help learners become confident in handling data.
My teaching philosophy focuses on clarity, repetition, and real-world application. I believe students learn Excel best through hands-on practice rather than theory alone. I guide learners step by step so they understand both the logic and application behind each function. This helps build strong confidence and long-term skill retention.
Outside teaching, I enjoy working with data visualization tools, exploring business intelligence systems, and analyzing real-world datasets. These experiences help me keep my lessons relevant and up to date. Watching students grow from confusion to confidence in Excel is deeply rewarding. My goal is to help learners use data effectively in real-world situations.

My Excel lessons are designed to help students gain strong control over data organization and analysis. I focus on essential skills such as spreadsheet structuring, formulas, functions, data cleaning, sorting, filtering, and visualization techniques. Each concept is taught in a simple and step-by-step manner so learners can clearly understand how Excel works in practical situations. I use business and academic examples to make learning relevant and easy to apply.
Students are guided according to their level and learning goals. Beginners focus on basic spreadsheet usage, formatting, and simple formulas like SUM and IF functions. Intermediate learners develop skills in lookup functions, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and chart creation. Advanced learners work on dashboards, automation techniques, and advanced reporting tools. Every lesson includes hands-on practice and guided exercises to build confidence and accuracy.
My goal is to help students use Excel as a powerful tool for decision-making and data analysis. As learners progress, they develop stronger analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excel becomes a practical skill that supports academic, professional, and business growth. I encourage consistency, practice, and curiosity throughout the learning process.
