About Lucia
I am finishing my degree in Chemical Engineering, and have 4 years' experience in tutoring students across a range of ages. I try to keep lessons positive and light-hearted, and try to make students feel confident and free to ask any questions. I can prepare material or adapt to what the student would like to go over during each lesson, as well as set and mark homework and past papers for them.

I like to challenge students by questioning their working thoroughly, and put focus on understanding over memorising. I always encourage them to think out loud and ask as many questions as they can come up with during classes! I typically conduct 1 hr sessions but can easily adapt to the student's requirements. I started tutoring during my second year at university, and have had students across a wide range of ages. I have experience with exam preparation, particularly with the Scottish curriculum.
