I’m a passionate chess tutor who makes learning both fun and effective. My lessons combine clear explanations of new concepts with exercises, puzzles, and creative resources to help students improve their game and develop their own strategies. Each session ends with reflection, ensuring every lesson is meaningful and memorable.
I teach all levels and cover topics such as openings, middle games, endgames, pawn structures, sacrifices, game analysis, and the history of chess.
Chess is for everyone, and I strive to make every lesson inspiring and enjoyable. DBS certification is available on request.

Perfect! Had my first chess lesson with Eva and thoroughly enjoyed it! She was incredibly insightful, breaking down concepts in a way that was both clear and genuinely interesting. I came away having learned a lot, and already feeling more confident about my next steps in the game. Highly recommend Eva to anyone looking to learn chess or sharpen their skills — a great teacher.

Knows photoshop inside out. V patient!
Eva is an excellent tutor. She has a friendly and creative teaching style which makes you feel both relaxed and inspired to learn. I have improved massively and gained a lot of confidence in my abilities since we have been working together. Eva is professional and reliable and I would recommend her to any learner!
Her knowledge of Photoshop and Photography is amazing. Eva is patient and in addition to showing me various ways to achieve what I was aiming for in a project I was doing, she gave me homework that I found beneficial and for a 76 year old student most enjoyable to do. I definitely recommend Eva for her teaching and artistic ability and above all her extremely affordable rates. Thank you Eva you are a credit to your profession.'
