About Mirjam
Hei, my name is Mirjam (she/her) and I'm a through and through Estonian with a passion for languages, especially for my mother tongue. :) After working mostly in communication and marketing field, I returned to tutoring last year. I've lived and studied in many countries and have a lot of international friends with whom I have practiced teaching and speaking Estonian as well as learning various aspects of other languages. I am inclusive and supportive, and I make sure studying with me is both enriching and fun. :)
I’m a native speaker of Estonian and take pride in a fluency and linguistic awareness that go beyond everyday usage. At the same time, I’m a true master of slang and informal speech — both book smart and street smart. I have been a language tutor for a few years and have studied multiple languages for many years myself, which gives me a good understanding of how teaching and learning work best.

I really enjoy teaching students from all ages and backgrounds.
Our lessons will take place online in a creative and supportive environment, where learning is fun. Together, we'll tailor the classes to your needs and work hand-in-hand to achieve your language goals. While some need help with their homework assignments, everyday conversations or confidence, I have also helped my students successfully pass A2, B1 and C1 language exams.
