About Özgür
I am currently studying Computer Science at University College London (UCL), after completing the International Baccalaureate (IB) with Higher Level subjects in Mathematics AA, Physics, and Computer Science, achieving 42/45 overall (41/42 excluding core points).
Alongside quantitative subjects, I have always been deeply interested in writing, argumentation, and critical analysis. My experience with IB essays, TOK, and analytical writing taught me the importance of clear reasoning and precise communication. I enjoy reading and reasoning about complex and often abstract ideas.

Many students struggle with essay writing not because they “cannot write,” but because they have not been taught how to think clearly, structure arguments, or analyse ideas in depth.
My approach focuses on helping students develop:
clarity of thought
argumentative structure
analytical precision
confidence in expressing complex ideas
I encourage students to move beyond formulaic writing and toward genuine understanding of texts, arguments, and concepts.
I currently offer one-on-one online sessions in:
Essay writing
Text commentary and analysis
Argumentative and analytical writing
TOK-style critical thinking
Research and study skills
University application essays
Academic writing support
Sessions are adapted to the student’s level and goals, and are particularly suited to students who want to improve the depth, clarity, and sophistication of their thinking and writing.
