About Shannon
I currently teach ESL in universities to business and engineering students. I also work with graduate students, assisting in the writing of their theses in English. I have been teaching business English to undergraduates and graduate students for the last 5 years in both engineering and business schools. I teach a variety of subjects to higher level students in English -- including a course on the Science of Mindfulness and Wellbeing. I also have experience preparing students for the TOEIC exam. I have a BA in English, and MA in History. I also completed a second MA in Ethics in 2021, researching the connection between language immersion and empathy. I love having the opportunity to foster language development in my students.
