About Nancy
I am a CELTA qualified English teacher and I have been teaching for 6 years in Hong Kong and Korea. I make my own materials and make sure that classes suit the needs and abilities of my students. I have taught students from 3-18 and have also run classes for adults. I have even taken part in writing an English text book.

I believe in the foundations of English being phonics. Once you have this covered, everything else is building blocks and confidence. I also believe that, especially for older students, English needs to be interesting. Teaching English through conversation, activity, or subject makes it more appealing to the learner. I like to focus on what a student or class finds interesting, and then build class materials and lessons around that.
