About Aisha
Hi- my name is Aisha, and I'm simply HORSE MAD! I have spent my entire life in the industry- more specifically, in education, science and research. I'm in my element when I'm teaching, and have spent time working as an equine lecturer. At the moment I'm studying my PhD on parasite management in Thoroughbreds, and around this I guest lecture at colleges and at local horsey shops. Hi! My qualifications are as follows:
BSc (Hons) Equine Psychology and Sport Science-1st class degree
MRes Equine Health and Welfare- Commendation
PGCE in Post compulsory education and training-Distinction
Currently researching parasite management in Thoroughbreds as part of a PhD at the University of Liverpool.
Additionally, I have my BHS Qualifications up to Stage 2, am a qualified equine remedial therapist (level 5) and have worked extensively as a Bit and Bridle fitter for a bitting company. I have also worked as an equine lecturer, teaching 16+ and adults.
Happy to educate at all levels and all ages. I have an up to date Enhanced DBS. My lessons are held online, and last 45 minutes to an hour, dependent on learner preference.
