About Shiza
I have 2 years of experience in private tutoring via online lessons. I have studied Maths, Business, and Geography at A Levels, going on to do a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Manchester, so I am also comfortable in teaching geography, environmental science, and any other related subject. I strive to maintain a very comfortable environment for my students in my lessons, working around their preferred learning styles and at their pace while having a clear structure and specific aims to our lessons. I also prefer keeping parents in the loop about their child's progress and clear breakdowns of the lesson if they want to - clear communication is key to me. I am open to any changes that the student or parent might want at any stage of the tutoring process.

My main focus for all of my students is creating a comfortable and open environment for the student to be able to communicate their needs in their subject. I am keen on tailoring all lessons for students based on their preferred learning styles, strengths, and weaknesses. I prioritise the student's understanding of the content, practice of exam-style questions, and memorisation of core concepts for each subject. My lessons typically last 1-2 hours, but can vary depending on the student, and I am open to teaching all levels of education (primary to university level - depending on the subject). I am educated in various subjects due to my multidisciplinary degree, so please feel free to reach out even if the subject you require tutoring in is not listed.
