About Ruby
Throughout my A levels I would mentor struggling students by working through practice questions with them and teaching them exam techniques. I have also tutored my younger brother through his GCSE maths for the past two years, in which he achieved an A*. Following my tutoring he now feels competent enough to take maths at A level.

I am currently in my second year studying Mathematics at the University of Bristol. I achieved an A* in both Maths and Further Maths at A-level, so I am confident in giving maths lessons to primary, secondary and A-level students. Throughout my school career I was also involved in extra curricular maths competitions where I had to look at problems with different approaches and explain my working to others. This has given me invaluable experience for tutoring. I will organise personalised lesson plans for my tutees depending on what they are struggling with and will work through maths problems with them until they feel confident enough to do it alone. I am passionate about the subject and look forward to helping others learn.
