About Amelia
I am an experienced secondary school mathematics teacher, having taught Ks3-ks5 Mathematics for 6 years up to and including A level further mathematics from a variety of exam boards. During my training I was awarded a mathemtics scholorship for my PGCE from the IMA (Institute of Mathematics and its Application).
During my time as a teacher I have worked with students from a variety of backgrounds and with varying abilities. I have successfully supported students with their applications to the top universities in the world including Yale and Oxbridge, but have also worked with underachieving students on a one to one basis to help them achieve their potential.
I have a passion for both education and mathematics. My bachelors degrees is a BSc Mathematics, Operational Research and Statistics with professional placement from Cardiff University. I also have an MSc in Genetic Epidemiology.
