About Dylan
I have just finished a 4 year MEng degree, reading Materials Science at Oxford University. I'm an enthusiastic, engaged, interested and approachable 22 y/o. Every person's brain works differently and finding the right place to approach a problem from for each student is the key to understanding. I often find that turning something that can sometimes be a very abstract subject like maths into real world problems is very useful in helping students to see where their particular misunderstanding of a topic stems from and also to help them get past it. I aim to make the subject more tangible, understandable and to find a method of thinking that works best for each individual student. My exact approach varies depending on each individual student's needs. I do a basic overview to identify areas of weakness then formulate a plan to best tackle and improve this.
