About Ethan
I am an A-Level student studying Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Spanish and am incredibly passionate about maths. I enjoy helping others see the possibilities in maths. By focusing on each individual student, I can help them gain academic confidence, improve their skills and reach their full potential.
I have recent experience with tutoring Year 6 SATS and GCSE students. My qualifications include GCSEs in Maths(9), Further Maths (9), Chemistry (9), Physics (9), Biology (9), History (9), English Language (9), Music (9) and Spanish (8).

A typical lesson would last an hour and can target areas which need extra work, or can work on foundations to improve all areas. By using open communication, I check understanding, followed by questions and practice to build confidence. I try to tailor each lesson to the individual student’s needs, reflecting on lessons to ensure understanding and identify next steps. I am a very patient and encouraging teacher, and promote curiosity in the subject. Teaching primarily GCSE and younger students, I have gained experience through teaching my peers and holding one-to-one sessions in Maths and Spanish.
