About Naomi
Hello, my name is Naomi. I proudly hail from UMassD, where I earned my stripes in 2022 with a dual BS degree in Biology and Biochemistry. Today, I immerse myself in cutting-edge research as a scientist at the esteemed Harvard University.
My academic journey has equipped me with profound knowledge in foundational courses, notably General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. My passion for these subjects didn't just end with my own studies. I took on the mantle of a tutor, guiding high school students as well as college freshmen right up to seniors, helping them navigate the challenging terrains of these subjects. With over 3 years of tutoring experience under my belt, I've honed my skills in both online and face-to-face settings. I find immense satisfaction in lighting the path for others, drawing from my own experiences and the rich academic background I've been fortunate to acquire.

As a result driven tutor, I developed curriculums for my students, to carefully explain and breakdown content in a way that is palatable because students are often intimidated by the daunting quantity and quality of academic work aligned with testing; part of my job is alleviating that intimidation by breaking down the dynamics and dissecting it piece by piece with students. From the strategies I provide with these courses, my students have shown growth in their test-taking abilities which helps tremendously in their retention of information.
Fulfilling a positive difference in a students academic journey and the joy of using my knowledge to help them succeed has build important teaching skills. I will always deliver robust lesson plans that cater to all students.
