About Dan
I will make it as enjoyable as possible while maintaining my professionalism and high standards as a teacher. You can do this. I will help you. But I need to see effort on your part. Trust me, when I was first learning at 12 and 13 years old, it was such a feeling of accomplishment when I showed my teacher that I can play the chords, songs or parts he taught me the previous week. You can have that same feeling too.

I want to know what your motivation is for learning guitar so that 1.) I can better plan out our lessons and 2.) you get the most out of each lesson.
Our first lesson will be learning the 6 strings of the guitar. Very Important. After that we will learn basic chords and simple strumming patterns.
This approach helped me when I was learning. I believe in a good foundation of starting with the basics and gradually learning more and more over time so that you feel comfortable with the instrument. It takes effort but once you start to feel comfortable you will begin to see how rewarding strumming a simple 3 chord song can be.

Perfect! Dan was an excellent tutor! Very patient with my 13 year old son who wasn't thrilled about starting guitar lessons. Would definitely recommend Dan to anyone.
