About Tilli
I am a committed and hard working student myself, so you can trust that I will push my pupils to their limits. But as a Musical Theatre degree student I would describe myself as fun and upbeat so kids definitely wont get bored of a monotone voice.
Though I didn't struggle in my studies, and achieved all A's and A* throughout my education, I have experienced bad teachers and harder subjects just like any other child and was forced to do a lot of independent study, which is where my passion for tutoring grew from. I want to be the person that your child can feel comfortable to come to with any questions they have, or any topics that make no sense, because I was also taught by really great teachers (who made me want to go home and study) so I know what works.
I want your child to have trust in me, so I hope you can trust me to build that relationship with them.

I'm prepared to teach children of any age up to 16 (or GCSE Level). My lessons will typically run for an hour in order to have enough time to cover material and answer detailed questions, but not to overwhelm with information and become a bore. I am very happy to adjust time to fit your child's needs, whether they need a half hour session, or four hours.
I know that every child is different and adapt my teaching style to suit each individual. I can make learning fun and engaging, but am also prepared to approach subjects logically and in great detail if that is what your child needs. Whatever method I take, the learning will always be focused and I'm willing to enforce discipline where necessary.
I taught gymnastics to children for several years so I have leant about strategies to engage and encourage them not just physically, but mentally.
