About Ray
I am a 20-year-old student studying history at Cambridge and based in London during the holidays. I have a strong background in English and history (and would be willing to help with similar essay-based subjects) and now have over 100 hours experience in tutoring, from helping primary school children learn basic arithmetic and literary skills to helping GCSE and A-Level students prepare for their exams. In particular, I can help develop students' thoughts and ideas about their subjects and improve essay-writing skills, as well as offer tips on exams and university applications. In preparing for my exams, I have studied mark schemes and developed revision strategies extensively and would be glad to help students develop their own strategies to maximise their success. Ray has been tutoring my son weekly for 'A' level History since September 2018.
Ray is always professional, reliable and punctual. She is enthusiastic about the subject and know what the examiners will be looking for.
