About Zaidan
Hi everyone! My name is Zaidan, a 1st year student at the University of Sheffield studying Biomedical Engineering. I have been tutoring for 6+ months, teaching a student A Level Mathematics. Seeing him progress and improve throughout this time has been truly rewarding. I’m excited to teach more students and help you improve your grades in your subjects alongside guiding you through post-16 and post-college choices – university, apprenticeships, degree apprenticeships you name it! In terms of qualifications, I achieved a D*D*D* in a BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering and an A in A Level Maths. I took A Level Maths as an independent self-studying private candidate. Through self-study I learnt how to quickly explaining complicated concepts to myself. I was also marking my own practice and mock papers, familiarising myself with the way examiners mark questions. I can easily teach you these as well.

I offer tutoring for GCSE subjects in Maths and Sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics), A Level Maths and guidance for UCAS applications (i.e. personal statement writing). I can also offer tutoring and help with assignments for BTEC National Diplomas in Engineering. Here is a rundown of how my lessons go: - I always ask students in advance, typically 3 days prior, of what they want to go through during the lesson. I then construct a lesson plan catered to your learning level and ability, drawing upon content listed on the relevant exam board alongside real life applications of the topic (i.e. engineering applications of mathematical concepts), hoping to nurture an appreciation of the taught material. - A personalised OneNote Notebook will be created for you. This is the “virtual whiteboard” where I’ll be teaching you from. Previous lessons and additional resources will be uploaded here which you can go back through whenever you like! - Worksheets, exercises and exam-style questions form the bulk of the lesson content. We’ll go through these together slowly at the start, instilling confidence, gradually picking up the pace to match exam demands. - A typical lesson lasts for 1 hour, usually no more than 1 hour and 15 minutes, although I am very flexible with timings.

He's very helpful , if he see that there's a certian topic that i don't get he goes through it until I get it .He also goes over the time limit sometimes so that i can understand the topic we were doing .Overall he's a nice guy and I can easily ask him for help whenever I need it.
