Biology teacher with a degree in Environmental Biology (2:1 classification)and a PGCE Science degree as well.

My teaching method focuses on active learning strategies that capture the attention of any pupil I would have the pleasure in tutoring. Each lesson I give starts of with recapping and identifying any questions they have of previous lessons and/or what they've recently covered in class that has caused them some difficulty. I prefer to get those misconceptions out of the way before we focus on the topics that we mean to cover during our lesson together.

I met Ashleigh while we were in university together. Throughout that time she has always wanted to be a teacher and I can't imagine anyone better suited to the task. She is a caring, capable friend who was always willing to help me out when I needed it, either personally or academically. Anyone would be lucky to have her as a tutor.

Ashleigh is an amazing science teacher and a one to one tutor, especially in biology. She looks for new exciting ways to get pupils engaged and excited about the stuff they are learning with her, it's what makes her an amazing teacher too!
