About Benjee
As a guitar tutor with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music, my goal is to help students develop both skill and confidence on their instrument. I begin by teaching fundamental techniques such as proper posture, finger positioning, chord transitions, strumming patterns, rhythm, and tone control, gradually moving into advanced techniques, improvisation, and composition. I integrate music theory naturally, connecting concepts directly to songs so learning feels practical and engaging.
My lessons are personalized to each student’s pace, goals, and musical preferences, creating a supportive environment where creativity thrives. I emphasize not only technical mastery but also expressive playing, performance readiness, and stage presence. Ear training, sight-reading, and improvisation are essential components of my curriculum, fostering well-rounded musicianship. I encourage exploration across genres, from classical and jazz to rock, blues, and contemporary styles. My teaching balances structure with freedom, ensuring lessons are both disciplined and inspiring. I provide detailed feedback, practice strategies, and constructive guidance to ensure steady growth.
