About Colette
My teaching approach focuses on helping students use English naturally in everyday life. We practise casual conversations, daily routines, and real-life situations so English feels comfortable and familiar. I encourage speaking freely and confidently, making learning relaxed and enjoyable.
Lessons are designed for practical use—chatting with friends, ordering food, asking for directions, or travelling. I work with conversationalists and travellers to help them integrate English seamlessly into daily experiences. Role-play, discussions, and small exercises make speaking feel effortless.
We focus on useful phrases, clear expression, and natural responses. Feedback is gentle and constructive, helping students improve step by step. I also help learners develop confidence in personal interactions, storytelling, and casual networking.

I have over 8 years of experience as an English tutor and hold a Graduate Certificate in Editing and Proofreading. I specialise in helping individuals strengthen their English skills for job interviews, résumé writing, and professional networking. My work focuses on empowering job seekers and career changers to present themselves confidently and effectively.
In my sessions, I guide students through interview strategies, compelling self-presentation techniques, and clear, structured cover letters. We practise real-world scenarios through mock interviews and use feedback loops to refine responses and build confidence. Each session is goal-based, ensuring progress and measurable improvement.
