About Iris
I am an English tutor with 5 years of experience and a Master of Arts in Literary Theory and Criticism. I help beginner and intermediate learners gain practical English skills for daily life, including banking, shopping, and travel.
My lessons include role-plays, vocabulary lists, and real-world scenario simulations. Students practice speaking, listening, and understanding English in everyday contexts. I create a warm, encouraging environment where learners feel safe to make mistakes and grow.

My teaching approach is centered on practical English for real travel experiences. I help students prepare for conversations they will actually face during trips. We practice planning itineraries, booking hotels, and asking clear questions when confirming reservations.
Learners study vocabulary for airports, check-in counters, security screening, and boarding announcements. We also prepare for unexpected situations like missed flights or lost baggage. Lessons include realistic simulations so students can rehearse before traveling.
I especially support newcomers adapting to a new country and learners who enjoy studying language deeply but want smoother communication. Coaching is warm and personalized. Pronunciation, listening, and natural speaking improve step by step.
We role-play taxi rides, hotel check-ins, and restaurant interactions. Sessions are relaxed and encouraging. Students learn to stay calm and speak clearly anywhere. You will gain confidence for any travel scenario and enjoy your journeys more.
