Fleur is an absolutely brilliant tutor. She tutored me in English Literature for a year and I went from getting grade 4s and 5s in my mock exams to getting a grade 8 (A*) in my actual GCSE’s. She is very engaging and knowledgeable and really improved my English skills. She really supported me in the lead up to my GCSE’s and pushed me to do my very best.

I started tutoring with Fleur when I was predicted a grade 6 for both English literature and language. After less than an academic year of tuition, I’ve raised two grades and archived final grade 8’s. Fleur is very flexible with timing changes, always on time and makes sure we have enough sessions. In sessions, Fleur is very patient and encouraging; always giving me prompts to answers and guiding me towards the right path. She’s very organised in sessions and has many resources that are always relevant and useful. When we mark my work together, Fleur is very detailed and has completely transformed my method of writing. I love that I could see immediate results from our sessions and I would say that 100% of the improvements I’ve made is because of Fleur’s teaching. My new ability to analyse text and write eloquently is still helping me with my Spanish A-levels and daily life even if I don’t do English in school anymore.
