About Ali
I’m a dedicated and approachable tutor with nearly seven years of experience helping students thrive academically and grow in confidence. I hold a degree in History from the University of Cambridge and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law with Distinction, and I achieved A*A*A* at A-Level in History, English, and Psychology. These achievements reflect not only a strong academic foundation, but also a deep understanding of how to succeed in exams, and how to pass that insight on to my students. I’ve worked with learners of all ages and abilities, from primary school through to A-Level, and I pride myself on creating a calm, supportive learning environment where students feel genuinely heard and empowered. My teaching is structured, engaging, and tailored to the unique goals of each student, whether that means mastering exam technique, developing analytical thinking, or developing their interest in a subject. Above all, I’m passionate about education and committed to helping every student reach their potential with confidence and pride. I have an up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate dated April 2025.
