About Erick Gerardo
English Area Director, Up English, English School. Mexico City, 2011-2019 Up English is an English school with its own teaching system that aims to enable students to learn the four most important aspects of becoming bilingual: speaking, listening, reading and writing in English. My role in this institution has been to develop this system, improve it and transmit it. Teachers and Teacher Instructor, Quick Learning. Mexico City. 2004-2011 In Quick Learning, my basic function was to teach courses from the most basic to the most advanced levels, although I was also selected to train teachers in different branches and to develop and develop educational material.

My classes are based on a grammatical explanation of the subject (it can be in Spanish so that the students understand perfectly) and the practice continues, which must be constant for the mastery of the explained. For perfect pronunciation, I rely on the international phonetic alphabet. I use my own material to avoid teaching things that are not important and I also turn to universal literature books backed by the University of Oxford. When the students already have a good level of language and as a practice we analyze in detail films and videos that enrich the vocabulary of the students more and show them a more natural way of what language is in real life.
