About Niko
Teaching experience:
Five years teaching experience at an English private school (Greece).
Eleven years of experience in teaching English at Cambridge Proficiency level.
I specialize in teaching students how to prepare for tests and exams and how to master the English language as quickly as possible.
In my experience there are no students who are "weak" in English. In my experience the mastery of a language has nothing to do with talent or intelligence, but purely with the mastery of the basics of how to approach the learning process as efficiently as possible and make learning English as enjoyable as possible.

Studying for exams, tests and tests can cause a lot of stress; especially if you feel that you are "not good" at a certain language.
The good news is that it doesn't have to be that way!
Time and again my experience shows that every student can achieve good to very good results with the right guidance. Weaknesses in a learning a language is often the result of gaps in the curriculum, the lack of proper explanation of concepts, the lack of sufficient practice and also not knowing HOW to tackle learning systematically and how to prepare for a test or exam.
Knowing the curriculum is one thing, but performing on a test or exam is something else entirely.
Both aspects are covered extensively in our lessons.
The goals and wishes of the student always come first. For example: working towards (final) exams, improving grading results for tests, etc.
Once you have mastered the exact steps of the how-to of studying, studying and learning becomes much easier and enjoyable.

Perfect! Onze zoon heeft enorm veel baat gehad bij de hulp van Niko, die een fantastische Engels leraar blijkt te zijn! Hij krijgt nog steeds wekelijks bijles van Niko en dat is niet voor niets. Niko is serieus en professioneel, maar ook geduldig en vriendelijk. Hij weet de lesstof op een heldere en begrijpelijke manier uit te leggen, waardoor onze zoon grote sprongen vooruit heeft gemaakt.
