Inclusive strategies: How will you accommodate the learners at risk, the gifted learners, different cultures, & the different religions?

Ensuring that cultural awareness is promoted in the classroom and it will starts with me by understanding each individual learner. I will take the time to learn about each learner’s cultural background, hobbies, learning styles and what makes them unique. I will demonstrate a genuine interest in learning about each learners and their culture will to help me establish trust and allow myself to form a bond with learners so they can feel valued. If a learner feels appreciated and comfortable with the teacher. Therefore, there is a better chance they will feel comfortable talking with and respect their peers in the class. Moreover, communication is the core to a culturally aware and inclusive classroom.
I will give the learners some flexibility and freedom in order encourages more connection to the curriculum. I will allow learners to read and present their own materials that relate to the fundamental lesson so they can approach the topic from their own perspective. Moreover, I will act as a facilitator and encourage conversation and healthy debate between diverse opinions.
I will practice cultural sensitivity to make sure I am being sensitive to everyone’s culture, beliefs and language concerns.
These considerations will help ensure that every learner feels included and given the space to learn in their own way as well as given a chance to succeed.
I will also encourage the learners to research and learn about their own ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Therefore, this will allows them to better understand their own culture as well as the differences with their peers.
