About Philippe
My teaching method comes down to improving my students English skills in a practical and quick way. I work with all skills: Speaking, writing, listening and reading, giving full support to the student to acquire learning autonomy. During class, communication between student and teacher is exclusively in English. During classes there are a series of activities to better assimilate the contents, which optimizes the time and performance of the class. These also have an emphasis on those who wish to prepare for a possible exchange.

I have 6 years of experience teaching English classes to students from basic to advanced levels and even to students who want to take international exams and lose an accent. My method is complemented with an immersion experience where the student will start doing the most diverse daily activities in English. I am an American citizen who was raised in Brazil. I lived in Canada for over 10 years, where I attended high school and university. I am graduated from the University of Toronto and have taught English to people of all levels and ages for over 6 years. Classes are in person with a focus on helping students acquire autonomy when communicating in English.
