About Zoe
Hi! I’m Zoe a Trinity College Student studying English and Film. I was born in Seattle, Washington but I’ve moved around quite a lot having lived in Shanghai, Sydney, and Los Angles before moving to Dublin for college. My favourite books are The Great Gatsby and Conversations with Friends. I love sports and have played soccer (or football) my whole life and lacrosse for seven years. I went to high school in California in a small beach town called Laguna Beach where I worked at a busy gelato shop. My dream after college is to become a writer or an editor for a newspaper and move to a big city.

My lessons aim to not only better your essay but your writing/analysing skills overall. I will teach you how to clearly identify what the essay prompt/question is asking and how to form a clear and concise argument that answers it. I will help you analyse a text and from there how to transform your findings into textual evidence that will support your argument and make a powerful essay. I will use my experience as a writer to guide you into discovering hidden meanings in the text but ultimately the goal is to advance your writing and your critical thinking skills.
