About Joanna
I am a History and International Relations Student at LSE, but my primary love has always been English Literature. In particular, I have great experience with Shakespeare and other poetry.
I am currently on a year abroad in Reims, France, and so currently conduct lessons remotely via Zoom.
My methodology focuses on trying to understand the specific needs and interests of my student and applying this to my teaching style, which is always centred on patience and positivity.

I have two years experience as an English tutor for GCSE, A Level and IB students.
My techniques are centred around communication and relationship. Lessons are therefore about building confidence, asking the right questions and thinking creatively.
Lessons can be as long as is required - hour-long sessions are most common, but I am also available for day-long workshops.
I have good knowledge of the AQA GCSE and A-Level curriculums as well as experience with the English Section of the IB.
