About Debadrita
I am a Year 12 English student, currently studying English Literature for A level. I attained two grade 9s in English at GCSE and am predicting an A* at A Level. I have provided one on one tutoring with younger students to help enhance their skills, but also their love of English. I am fairly secure with the new AQA English GCSE specification, but will be able to apply the general skills for OCR and Edexcel boards, as well.

Previously, I have worked with students on half to one hour sessions, asking them to bring an extract or piece of work they need help with. For younger students (minimum year 7), I'd prefer for them to bring the text they are currently studying, so I can read through with them and help to explain the text and it's importance, as well as begin to work on improving comprehension skills. For GCSE, I would ask students doing literature to bring an extract we can annotate, then work through an essay plan, and for language, to bring an appropriate text as provided in the exam to work through and then practice writing their own creative pieces.
