About Christopher
My name is Christopher Endswell. I'm a bilingual full-time educator from London, UK. I've taught students of all ages and skill levels online and face-to-face across the world including in Europe, Asia and South America. I provide lessons in the science of and strategies for effective learning, English as a second language, English for business, argumentation, and critical thinking. Throughout my own studies I tutored fellow students in maths, economics, biology, UK law, and history and have also worked as a sales coach in London. All told, I have amassed thousands of hours of teaching experience across many fields with all kinds of students. So whether you’ve been studying full-time for the past 10 years or haven’t learnt a new skill in decades you can expect to be provided with all the knowledge, resources, and tools you need in order to achieve your learning goals. I studied a BSc in Business Enterprise at the University of Buckingham and my teaching methods are inspired by Learning How to Learn, Mindshift, The First 20 Hours, The Power of Habit, Make It Stick, How We Learn, Brainworks, and Peak, among many others.

All Lessons are conducted via Google Meet and are typically 1-2 hours long twice weekly. Trial lessons are 1 hour where we get to know each other, introduce you to my teaching style, and agree on a study plan and schedule tailored to your learning needs and objectives. I’m a big proponent of active learning strategies, meaning you can expect to be engaging with and applying what you’re learning from the first lesson. This also means that lessons will ideally be a split of roughly 70/30 you speaking to me speaking in order to give you the greatest opportunity to apply and internalise what you’re learning.
