About Sriharee
Every Professional was once a Beginner. Something I tell all of my students all the time.
I am Harry, a 23 year old Final Year English major Degree student who is from Johor Bahru but currently is studying in Kuala Lumpur. I originally transferred from a Computer Science degree where I was majoring in Data Science, but I had more passion in English which made me decide to pursue English as a major. before my degree, I had completed my Diploma in Information Technology which would be useful when combined with my current degree when I pursue my Masters in Computational Linguistics.
I started teaching during my first year of my English degree out of curiosity. After the classes had ended, I had missed teaching so much that I started to do it more often while balancing my student life as well. I would teach part-time to secondary school or primary school students. I would also join the 'Peer Coaching' programs in my university to teach my university's students for free which I quite enjoyed despite the first few weeks of having trouble with having them to open up which they did after changing the way of teaching my classes, which then I started preparing my own materials and slides for the students based on their difficulties and areas which they needed the most.

I am a Final Year student studying Bachelor of Arts in English Studies. I have experience teaching university and secondary school students. I am able to teach from all angles let it be literature or linguistics. I could also help you prepare for a MUET exam that you're about to sit for as I have experience teaching that for university students. I would be preparing the materials based on your learning need and capabilities.
If you speak basic English, it would be easier in teaching whereas if you speak Malay or Tamil it would be easier in translating certain words or phrases in class. Although I am learning Japanese and French, I would not prefer it as I am still in the level of a beginner which would be hard for me to translate certain words.
As for face-to-face classes, It would be convenient if you are nearby but if you are not then the classes shouldn't be too late as I will be travelling by public transportation. I do prefer online classes as for certain concepts (If you are learning it), it would be better to explain have activities or exercises in person.
As for online classes, it would be held on Google Meet or Zoom based on your preference. (I don't mind having it on discord as well if you choose to).
*Note : Both face-to-face and online classes would have to be planned beforehand as I will be having classes during weekdays. Weekends would be preferred but weekdays would have to be planned.

Details
I have set my fees pretty low as I am still a student despite being a final year degree student majoring in English.
If you are a student too, please do contact me and I could reduce the fee (or even have free classes haha), as long as it is online. If it is face-to-face then there would be some charges just to take trains and buses to your place (based on where you live)
