About Saptarshi
I am Saptarshi, an MA in English from NEHU and a UGC-NET qualified educator currently working as a Guest Faculty at a government college in Assam. I understand the challenges students face because I have recently navigated them myself. My goal is to make English literature and language accessible, enjoyable, and exam-ready for every learner. I believe in patient teaching, clear explanations, and building real confidence in my students. Whether you are preparing for UGC-NET, struggling with your BA/MA coursework, or simply wanting to improve your English, I am here to guide you with structured lessons and genuine support.

My Teaching Techniques and Methods:
I believe in teaching for understanding, not just memorization. I use a concept-first approach, where I break down complex literary theories, movements, and texts into simple, relatable ideas. For exam-focused students, I incorporate answer-writing practice, previous year question analysis, and regular feedback. I also encourage active discussion so students learn to think critically rather than just passively listen.
Usual Structure of a Class:
A typical session begins with a quick recap of the previous topic to strengthen retention. We then move into the core topic of the day, explained through examples, summaries, and discussion. In the last 10–15 minutes, we do a short question-answer round or a writing prompt based on what was taught. If the student is preparing for UGC-NET, I integrate MCQs and mock test discussion into this structure.
My Special Features as a Teacher:
UGC-NET Qualified Myself: I cleared NET in 2025, so I know exactly what works and what wastes time. I teach with an examiner's perspective.
Relatable and Patient: I understand the anxiety and overwhelm students feel. I create a judgment-free space where no question is too small or silly.
Bilingual Support: I can explain difficult concepts in English, Hindi, or Assamese to ensure complete clarity.
Academic Writing Expertise: I can guide students through research proposals, dissertations, and structured essay writing.
For Whom the Classes Are Intended:
My classes are designed for:
College Students: BA and MA English literature and language students who need concept clarity, assignment help, or exam preparation.
UGC-NET/JRF Aspirants: Students preparing for Paper 1 and Paper 2 in English.
Adults and Professionals: Those who need help with academic writing, spoken English, or communication skills.
School Students (Class 11–12): Those who want to strengthen their English foundation and writing skills.
