About Paula
I’m a retired professor with 30 years experience working with students from elementary school through college. I hold a BA in English and an MEd. I have taught all over the country, from Maine to California. My understanding of students with disabilities helps me work with virtually any student, and I invite you to contact me if you are looking for someone who will encourage your student to be his or her very best.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style and needs, so until I meet the student, I can’t say exactly how the lessons will proceed. The beginning lesson is always an assessment, which shows where and what to work on. I cover grammar, syntax, usage, spelling and critical thinking. I pride myself on understanding each student’s strengths and weaknesses, and I look forward to helping your student succeed.
