About Nathan
I am a student of English Literature, History, Media, Psychology and Maths who is passionate about writing. I achieved the highest English grade of my GCSE year and have ran several creative writing clubs, writing various novels, poems and articles in my spare time.

My typical teaching method is to follow the examination learning objectives of A01-A04 with a specific focus on the author’s use of language devices to hone in on the overarching themes of any given text that examiners are searching for. Form and structure will also be studied to a further extent as often this is the most difficult for students to weave into their answers.
The study of an author’s use of language devices and structure will also be used to apply to one’s own creative writing task in the GCSE exam from a fellow student’s perspective, gaining insights and tips that often teachers nor examiners will reveal. As such, the second main methodology of teaching will be to learn the best formats of structuring essay responses with the examiner’s mark scheme checklist in mind to achieve top marks.
