About Somya
I’m Somya, an English Literature student at Delhi University with a strong foundation in grammar, writing, and literary analysis. My academic background has helped me understand a wide range of literary texts—from poetry and drama to novels and critical theory. I love sharing this knowledge with students in a way that's easy to grasp and meaningful. As a tutor, I focus on making both English language and literature easy to understand and enjoyable to learn. I use clear explanations, relatable examples, and engaging discussions to build confidence in grammar, writing, and literary analysis. A typical class includes a short recap, concept explanation, reading or writing practice, and a quick revision. For literature, I break down poems, plays, and stories in simple terms, helping students understand themes, characters, and deeper meanings. My classes are ideal for school students (Classes 6–12), beginners working on English basics, or anyone who wants to understand and enjoy literature more deeply.
