About Katharina
I have an A* in English GCSE and A Level and a 2.1 in English Literature at a top University. Since then I taught English Literature for 2 years in a Secondary School and I am a Qualified Teacher.
I myself am passionate about English but can appreciate how English is not always accessible or easy for everyone because I too did not always find it easy. I did not like English when I was young but due to my English Teacher at School I learnt to approach writing in a different way and turn the ideas in my head into sentences and structures that in turn allowed me to achieve straight A*'s as well as loving the subject.
Therefore I know it is not easy but I also know that I can inspire and help you to feel the same as I do. I have already helped students to change their mindset and get the best grades and I can do this for you too.

I am a qualified and experienced English Literature teacher. I have an A* at English literature GCSE and A level as well as a 2.1 in English Literature at a Russel Group University. I have been teaching English for 2 years in a London Secondary School and specialise in preparing GCSE students for writing English Literature essays to achieve the top grades by focusing on the mark schemes and what examiners look for when marking your papers. I am a patient and empathetic educator who will help you to express your ideas in a structure and format that will get you to not only enjoy the literature but also get the grades you want from it.
