About Aimee
I’m a 17-year-old student from Liverpool who has a great passion for English literature: not just teaching it but practising it myself. I also enjoy movies, music and books (obviously). I want to teach for work experience and a summer job, it’s a job that relates strongly to my interests and future aspirations. I also have a passion for communication and feel like I can confidently teach texts in a new and interesting way (especially Macbeth, The Crucible, Jekyll and Hyde, Blood Brothers and poetry).

Being a 17-year-old seems more of an advantage to me than a disadvantage; my age allows me to understand the mark scheme in a relatable way to students aged 14-16 rather than someone older and out of touch. I primarily aim for students aiming for grades 7-9 but definitely can accommodate students aiming for grades 4-6. I offer a simple way to consistently achieve a grade 9 by improving understanding of the texts studied, how to write interesting and engaging thesis statements and how to incorporate grade 9 level analysis/interpretations.
