About John
Hi, I'm John. I'm Irish, but I've lived in Prague, where I met my wife, and then lived in the US, where I taught English literature and creative writing at the University of Alabama. I've taught English as a foreign language, English literature, critical thinking, and creative writing, and I work hard to help my students develop and become the best writers that they can be. Also, I strive to make each lesson meaningful, memorable, and fun.

I have 10+ years teaching English literature at the university level and have worked as an academic advisor. I can help you excel in your studies, as well as enjoy them. I work with Leaving Cert students, university students, and anyone interested in studying English literature, working on their creative writing, or building their critical thinking skills.
