About Laura
Concordia University granted me a BFA Music Performance and TESOL degree which informs how I support you in navigating new linguistic landscapes. My classroom currently serves a wide range of individuals spanning from Grade 3 newcomer kids to working professionals seeking to find their footing in Canada.
During 7 years of teaching, I have observed that people learn best when they feel understood and encouraged. I offer free access to my vocabulary notes to ensure you have structured resources for your progress. You will find that my approach blends academic rigor with a friendly atmosphere to keep you engaged. Helping students articulate their thoughts clearly is a task I find genuinely rewarding as we work together.

Whether you are an adult learner or a student, we explore idioms and expressions to make your speech sound more natural. We also spend time on pronunciation and accent to ensure your voice is heard clearly. My background in music allows me to pinpoint rhythm and flow in your speech patterns.
