About Meltem
Hello! My name is Meltem Yagli, and I am a dedicated and professional tutor with a passion for helping students excel academically and personally. I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my teaching, having spent over 10 years in the finance sector before transitioning to academia as a PhD researcher in Finance at the University of Liverpool. I specialise in teaching English language skills (IELTS and TOEFL), Mathematics, Accounting, and Finance, and have successfully supported students of all levels, from secondary school learners to university students and adult professionals. Qualifications and Experience: I am a PhD researcher in Finance at the University of Liverpool, with two years of experience teaching university-level seminars in Introduction to Finance and Introduction to Accounting. I have also taught over 35 hours of online lessons through the TeachMe2 platform, specialising in English language exams (IELTS and TOEFL), Mathematics, and Finance. My background includes a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering and a strong foundation in Actuarial Science and Economics.
